Rockville Pike Chick-fil-A Grand Reopening Set for March 5

After months of renovations, the Chick-fil-A at 12001 Rockville Pike in Montrose Crossing is officially reopening on March 5, 2026 β€” and the restaurant is planning a full day of celebration.

Doors open bright and early at 6:30 a.m. The first 100 guests in line will receive a gift bag and the chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year. It’s expected to draw an early crowd, especially from regular customers who’ve been waiting for the refreshed location to return.

From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., customers who have the Chick-fil-A mobile app can spin a prize wheel for a shot at free food and branded merchandise. Later in the evening, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., guests dressed as cows will receive a free Chick-fil-A β€œBOG Card” while supplies last. The Chick-fil-A Cow mascot will also be available for photos throughout the day.

One thing to note: this location does not include a drive-thru. Some customers say they prefer the convenience of the Research Row restaurant for that reason, but others appreciate the Pike location for quick in-store service while shopping nearby.

If you’re planning to attend, arriving early may be your best bet.
